There are few things that are as simultaneously fun, annoying, and ridiculous as abstract logic questions. Here are four of them.
My wife is trying to go back to school to get her Master’s, and to that end she recently passed an entrance exam for a local school. But during the course of the exam, a lot of the questions made her stop and ask “Wait, what the hell?”.
However, knowing she was married to an incurable “puzzler”, she kindly wrote down 4 of the questions and brought them home to hubby late that night.
The 1st, 3rd & 4th I managed to get pretty quickly, but by bedtime I hadn’t solved the 2nd. Today, while strolling down the street, out of the blue the answer to the 2nd jumped out of the bushes, knocked me to the ground, and roughed me up pretty bad. It also took my spare change and credit cards.
In any case, for your puzzling pleasure, I present the four puzzles in question, as they were presented on the test (i.e. with no sort of explanation WHATSOEVER). Add your comment to tell us what you think the answer is. I’ll post the answers on Monday.
